Britain is in the grip of a severe housing crisis and the only way to end it is to invest in more social homes. To draw public’s attention to this, we got British R&B icon Craig David to go back to his childhood social home and play a one-off acoustic concert.
The songs performed, Fill me in, Walking Away and Seven Days were written in his old bedroom, highlighting how his former home helped launch his successful music career. Our message to the government was simple: we need more social homes so everybody has the opportunity to grow and thrive.
The campaign featured on ITV’s This Morning and several other news outlets including the BBC.
